Have you ever thought about going on a cycle holiday  but do not know where to start? Are you unsure whether you like a cycle holiday at all? Then this is your chance to try it out.

Carla Tours offers the opportunity to do a two day try-out cycle holiday with sublime bicycles (Koga and Santos travel bicycles), waterproof bags, tents, mats and cooking utensils, guided by an experienced holiday cyclist.

During the workshop you cycle a distance of about 50 km per day with about 20 – 25 kg luggage. Then you can really experience how cycling with that amount of luggage feels like. Along the way Carla explains many things about a cycling holiday. Practical information about the bicycles and bags, your packing list, route planning, where do you sleep and eat on the way will be discussed, as well as tips for small emergency repairs and improvisation when things do not go as planned.

2008dec25047EricKooktObviously there is ample time for your questions during the workshop. Whether it’s a trip of three weeks in the Netherlands and neighboring countries, or trips further away, such as through Asia, Africa or South America.

Before: send in specific questions that you want answered during the workshop.
